London – Photographer Rankin has launched a new biannual fashion and lifestyle magazine.
The Hunger will act as a showcase for young emerging talent, including new artists, photographers and designers, as well as containing interviews and fashion stories with celebrities and creatives. Promoted as a sister publication alongside AnOther and AnOther Man, the new magazine will feature similarly curated content, but with more input from the photographer.
Accompanying the magazine is the website Hunger TV, which will be updated weekly with short documentaries, fashion films and video interviews.
‘The Hunger is an idea that was born from the realisation that, more than two decades into my career as a photographer, I am still inspired by what I do every day,’ explains Rankin. ‘I named my first retrospective exhibition Visually Hungry – that’s how I felt. In a lot of ways, it is how I think I’ll feel until I die.’
