San Francisco – Eatsa is a restaurant where the menu, not the waiter, welcomes you back.
Built for speed, Eatsa invites customers to place their order via a touchscreen and collect it from a cubbyhole delivery point.
To make the experience as seamless as possible, all food orders are monitored to build up a taste profile for each user.
With this data, Eatsa can re-order or modify a customer’s last dish and recommend ingredients or garnishes they are likely to enjoy.
‘People may end up seeing choices that are unique to them,’ says co-founder Scott Drummond. ‘We’ll get to know you, and when you come back, we’ll offer you some different items that you wouldn’t have expected, based on your preferred combinations.’
