Mexico – Architecture practice Gracia Studio has created 20 stand-alone hotel rooms overlooking a rocky Mexican valley designed to blend in perfectly with their rugged environment.
The 20-square-metre rooms, part of the Hotel Endémico in the Guadalupe Valley, consist of individual wooden cubes on stilts. Each room features unobstructed views of the valley, giving guests feelings of isolation and being close to nature. In contrast with the exterior, the room’s interiors are white with a sleek, modern feel.
