San Francisco – Users of Apple’s iPod Nano will now be able to shoot and watch videos on the new generation of the phenomenally successful music player unveiled this week. Featuring a video camera, microphone, speaker and 2.2-inch colour screen, and a memory capacity of up to 14 hours of captured video on the 16GB model, the new iPod Nano was designed so users could easily download video onto computers to share online.
By building a video camera into the popular music player, Apple taps into the growing market for micro-sized pocket camcorders as online video emerges as a key entertainment medium of the future.
