Detroit – Customer enquiries sent to General Motors are to be answered, on the car manufacturer’s website, through online video posts featuring the company’s top man. Frederick ‘Fritz’ Henderson, GM president, is coming out of the boardroom to answer questions on GM Reinvention in a bid to restore the public’s faith in the ailing brand.
Henderson appears willing to address key issues, including questions on future profitability and the viability of a mass-produced electric car. It’s refreshing to see a monolith like GM aiming for some semblance of transparency in its work, but we’d love access to the full list of submissions to see which questions are answered and which are left in the dust.
