US – Peruvian graphic designer Eder Rengifo and Nashville-based developer Bryn Bodayle have created the T3 Player, an iTunes interface inspired by Dieter Rams’ 1958 portable radio.

The interface, which can be downloaded from the iTunes app store and applied to iPhones and iPod Touches, uses the same circular dial found on Rams’ radio and on early iPod models.

Consumers are becoming nostalgic about tangible music experiences. The T3 Player interface lets users interact with their iPod or iPhone by using gestures reminiscent of older technology.
