London – Sportswear aesthetics broke free from the gym bag to adorn a range of bold, nightclub-ready dresses in the spring/summer 2013 collection by David Koma, which was unveiled at London Fashion Week.

Honeycomb patterns, familiar from Airtex mesh linings, were enlarged and splashed across pieces that look like tennis dresses, but are unlikely to find their way onto the court this spring. Instead, Koma has leveraged the high-performance look to create slick, streamlined silhouettes for the evening.

This is a great example of a designer working in a similar vein to our Kaizen Living design direction.
