International – Swedish-born electronica artist and Forss creator Eric Wahlforss has released his latest album, Ecclesia, as an audio-visual iPad app that lets listeners change what they hear by manipulating the artwork on screen.
Wahlforss collaborated with Depart audio-visual creative Leo Lass and untouch.fm CGI artist Marcel Schobel to create an individual artwork for each track on the album that acts as a 3D sculpture. Listeners can navigate these 3D sculptures via intuitive iPad technology to alter the music they hear.
The Ecclesia app is a great way to create an interactive experience in the digital world and harness consumer demand to feel part of the creative process. Find out more in our Future Media Landscapes macrotrend.
