Paris – Luxury fashion brand Jean Paul Gaultier is running a video advertising campaign for its new men’s fragrance, Kokorico, showing the production of the scent’s bottle.
The video short shows a stylised montage of an automated glass factory making the bottle, from heating the sand to producing the final item. The film contrasts with other advertising to promote the launch of the fragrance, which consists of flamenco dance routines and supermodels.
This is a good example of a luxury brand illustrating the effectiveness of showing the processes that make a product. For more examples, read our Show Your Working micro trend.
