Copenhagen – Danish brewery Carlsberg has introduced a non-alcoholic drink that has nothing to do with beer.
Beo* is a low-calorie, sparkling drink with no added sugar and artificial sweeteners. ‘The sweetness comes from malt and fruit juice,’ says Lene Dyrby Andersen, international innovation platform director at Carlsberg.
‘Only natural ingredients have found their way into the bottle. Even the bubbles are natural as they’re the result of the brewing process.’
Beo* comes in two flavours: Apple-Green Tea and Blood Orange-Hibiscus.
