San Francisco – Apple has unveiled its eagerly awaited iPad 2.
The new device features the typical ergonomic improvements that we have come to expect from Apple’s product launches. It is 33% thinner and up to 15% lighter than the original iPad.
More interesting is the new Smart Cover, a solution to what many saw as a design flaw in the previous model. The new cover protects the touchscreen surface and doubles up as a stand, providing greater usability when typing or viewing content.
