New York – Chef Lior Lev Sercarz has opened his first bricks-and-mortar retail space, La Boîte, in Hell’s Kitchen.

The store’s minimalist design features product displays at the front and centre – highlighting the chef’s range of spice blends, La Boîte à Epice. Inspired by Sercarz’s travels and the spice-trading heritage of the places he visited, the collection includes obscure and forgotten ingredients such as Urfa biber (Turkish pepper) and orchid root.

The store also features Sercarz’s La Boîte à Biscuits range of cookies, inspired by the work of artists.
