New York – LS:N Global has previously reported on the Levi’s temporary print shop for the community. Now it is extending its workshop programme with a photographic studio.
The Photo Workshop is based in the former Deitch Gallery and provides a photographer’s essentials, from Leica camera rental to the use of studio space to lighting equipment. For people who want to learn how to use the equipment, experts will be on hand to offer advice in the studio or through the free educational workshops. ‘We thought about what it means to be a pioneer in this day and age,’ says Michael Ventura, CEO of Sub Rosa, the interaction design agency that developed the project for Levi’s.
