London – Condé Nast UK has launched a new fashion and style magazine, whose first issue will be published in February 2009. Love magazine, which will be edited by former Pop editor-in-chief Katie Grand, will be published twice a year, demonstrating a shift from the traditional monthly model of publishing fashion content. Love’s publication schedule suggests that niche fashion magazines may increasingly find it economically sensible, in a struggling print market, to publish more sporadically rather than continue to churn out new issues every month.
