Rio de Janeiro – A new social network aggregator is helping to organise people’s online lives, keeping individuals’ multiple e-profiles in one manageable place. Power.com, a web start-up by entrepreneur Steve Vachani, pulls together the information from users’ email and various social networks so that contacts, updates and correspondence can be kept in a single easy-to-access location. The site is currently able to aggregate from Facebook, MySpace, hi5, orkut and MSN.
Just weeks after its launch, the site already boasts 5m users, a considerable number of whom come from Brazil and India – two of the fastest-growing online media cultures around the world, as we reveal in our upcoming report on India.
