Just in case: Phone covers offer germ protection

24.05.2010 Canada : Toronto : Clean

Toronto – A phone case is often used to prevent mobile phones from being damaged. Now, there is a range of cases to protect users from germs too.

Made by case maker iSkin, the phone covers include Microban antimicrobial protection. This is normally used in consumer, industrial and medical products to prevent growth of bacteria, mould and algae.

Consumers can now enjoy the added protection in the Solo FX SE and Revo2 covers for the iPhone as well as in covers for the BlackBerry Bold 9000, Curve 8900 and Storm 9530. The cases come in a range of colours including bright red, blue and pink.
