London – Lucky Chip has opened its first permanent location in Dalston, serving burgers alongside premium bottles of wine.
Most wines are priced between £20 ($28, €26) and £50 ($71, €65) per bottle, with a select few costing over £100 ($142, €131) each.
‘We will also be matching wines with burgers,’ Lucky Chip founder Ben Denner told the Evening Standard. ‘We’re looking to pair some limited burgers with limited wines by the glass, maybe poured from a single magnum, so once they’re gone, they’re gone.’
Each Thursday at 7:00pm the team opens a cult wine, usually only available by the bottle, and offers it by the glass at cost price.
