London – Asian-inspired food chain Wagamama has launched a smartphone app that diners can use to order meals.
The digital ordering platform is the first of its kind in the UK and will be available on Apple iPhone.
Through the simple interface, customers can locate their nearest restaurant, browse the menu, place orders and pay. They can even customise their favourite dishes by removing and adding ingredients such as chicken, curry and noodles. The application also allows the customer to choose their pick-up time.
The Wagamama app is a fine example of how brands are adopting the concept of Apptailing to reach consumers in their pocket; read more in our Retail Report.
