Melbourne – As part of the Sustainable Living Festival, the Look.Stop.Swap programme enabled companies to share their ideas on how to live and work more sustainably in the city.
In the two-week programme from 9 to 24 February curated by online magazine Three Thousand and presented by City of Melbourne, retailers, cafés and other local businesses virtually swapped objects such as books, as well as ideas and practices in workshops about sustainable business and social enterprises.
Among the workshops were Pop Plant, which included an installation detailing how businesses can grow their own fresh air, The Boatbuilders Yard, which demonstrated how to make drinking glasses from empty beer bottles, and Planet Luxe, which detailed how just about anything can be recycled.
