Milan – Studio Klass has created a range of three ceramic bathroom items called Pinolo, Baia and Momento, which re-examine bathroom rituals, and chime with our Intuitive Utility design direction.
Pinolo is a toothbrush holder that is designed to be more functional and hygienic than a container. The toothbrush is stored horizontally and allows water to drip away cleanly. Momento is a table mirror that is used simply with the object resting on a table. Grooves on the back offer storage and easy access to make-up tools. Baia is a ceramic bathroom container that enables people to store their personal effects safely while washing.
This is a strong example of how, in a hectic world, people are drawn to pared-back design cues and simplicity. For more on this wider shift, read our Intuitive Futures macrotrend.
