New York – A new social network lets users create their own 3D pages in which they can collaborate and communicate with others.
Gifpumper is a platform for creating 3D web spaces through multi-dimensional collages of images, GIFs and MP3 files. Through simple coding techniques curators can add, move and rotate files to create a navigable space.
This space can then act as a chat room for other users, or as a space for collaboration. Other contributors can edit and move objects within the space, or add their own files.
As LS:N Global explored in our Netstalgia macrotrend, an emerging generation of consumers are interacting with the web in new and unexpected ways. They are looking for spaces that go beyond the commercial constraints of traditional social networks within which to communicate and collaborate.
