Poznań – Polish architecture firm mode:lina, has created three rooms in Quotel, a pop-up hotel set up to serve the industrial fair in Poznań, Poland. The design combines affordable, replaceable parts with custom-made luxury in order to create an inexpensive interior which still feels high-end.
Architect Jerzy Wozniak has repurposed products from the IKEA catalogue to create an interior that, he says, ‘will, on the one hand, stand out among similar apartments on the market for people visiting the fair, and, on the other hand, still works within the rather limited budget’.
