London – The brand’s non-toxic household cleaning products are designed to complement its skincare range.

The collection is divided into two categories – Kinn Home and Kinn Body – and includes Body Lotion and Bath Oil alongside Floor Wash and Bathroom Cleaner. The products feature similar branding but are housed in clear and opaque bottles, respectively, to enable users to distinguish between them.

Co-founded by mother and daughter duo Marie Lavabre and Sophie Lavabre-Barrow, the brand promotes clean beauty through its use of essential oils such as ylang ylang, lavender and tangerine, and soothing ingredients such as aloe vera extract. At a time when 76% of UK consumers say they feel misled by beauty labelling, Kinn, which has been certified organic by the Soil Association – the UK’s largest organic certification body – is proving its commitment to transparency.

‘Our ethos at Kinn is clean beauty,’ Lavabre explained to LS:N Global. ‘To us this means making sure that what you put on your skin and use in your home is organic.’ Lavabre hopes to educate consumers to think beyond products and consider the effect of environmental toxins on their skin.
