New York – Adult is a new magazine that comes with the tagline ‘not suitable for minors’. It contains a range of content aimed at literary eroticists, those who enjoy the sensuality of poetry, reading and nudity.
The quarterly magazine, which will be on the shelves in November, features a variety of diverse content, from profiles on film directors such as David Cronenberg and Ryan Coogler to an oyster omelette recipe containing white Zinfandel, and short erotic stories – all interspersed with pictures of women in various stages of undress.
Adult magazine is entering an emerging market of erotic media, in which pornography is less about voyeurism and more about a cultured appreciation of the female form, and content goes beyond shots of bums and tits. For more, read our New Porn microtrend.
