Pie in the sky: Ingfah diners get a better view

Khao Lak, Thailand – Local creative agency Integrated Field (IF) has designed Ingfah, a new kind of outdoor restaurant, in Khao Lak, Phang Nga, Thailand.

Rather than having one communal area for diners, IF made small units that can be constructed quickly and placed anywhere in the restaurant space. The structures are covered in a stretch material that obscures the guests’ views of the surrounding built-up area and directs their gaze to the sky.

Hospitality brands are increasingly providing consumers with spaces to escape and contemplate. For more examples, read LS:N Global’s New Sublimity Tourism microtrend.
