California – New geosocial app Wallit digitally preserves site-specific experiences with virtual walls on which people can leave messages.
The app uses augmented reality and geolocation-based technology to enable people who are physically present at a location to leave 140-character messages on virtual walls around the world. The 700 walls, in cities that include London, Paris, Tokyo, Rome, Istanbul and San Francisco, can be read from anywhere.
‘Wallit socialises augmented reality experiences’ says creator Veysel Berk. ‘You can start a conversation with people who are really there.’
