Zurich – Think tank WIRE, the Web for Interdisciplinary Research and Expertise, has released a file-card publication called Mind the Future, a compendium for contemporary trends.
The publication analyses 60 economic, technological, political, ecological, societal and demographic trends, giving credence to the idea that we can only create theories about what will happen in the future.
‘We are not trying to give people a concrete vision, but to give them tools to think about the future,’ says Stephan Sigrist, head of WIRE and contributing author to Mind the Future. ‘The publication is designed in such a way that enables the reader to leaf through separating or sharing what interests them.’
