Melbourne – A new pop-up coffee bar at the Somewhere Store Gallery will be exploring more accessible home alternatives to your local café than your Nespresso machine.
From 8 to 18 August, the Black Coffee bar will present single-origin brews from Melbourne’s finest micro-roasters. There will be no espresso, milk and sugar served, however. The temporary coffee bar will use four brewing methods: French Press, Pour Over, Aeropress and Syphon Brew.
As LS:N Global previously explored in our Coffee Sensoriums report, consumers are increasingly turning to quality coffee worldwide. They have acquired a more discerning palate and are visiting independent cafés for a particular coffee rather than going to chain outlets such as Starbucks.
