New York – Online magazine Sight Unseen has produced and curated the Noho Design District as part of New York’s International Contemporary Furniture Fair.
As part of the show, the McMasterpieces exhibit is presenting works from American designers who have been asked to create objects and furnishings made exclusively from materials from McMaster-Carr.
The industrial parts supplier sells more than 48,000 products through its website. The exhibition highlights the usefulness of these objects in the design process, making them the focus, rather than components of the works.
