Switzerland – Shape: unknown, outline: unknown, length: unknown. Snowboard brand Yes is inviting customers to do the work on its new Clark board.
Yes is calling on snowboarding enthusiasts to get their hands dirty with a bit of SIY, or Shape It Yourself, to create their perfect board or to work from a range of templates.
The Clark comes as a single piece of wood, with fibreglass, resin and plastic that can be cut and shaped to create any design the rider wants. After buying the materials, customers must pick up their tools and go to work. Yes recommends taking two or three days to carve out the finished product ready to hit the slopes.
