Healthy balance: Pür rebranding changes the tone

Helsinki – Health shop Pür eschews the typical aesthetic of wellness stores, which tend to be minimalist and clinical, in favour of a soft and warm interior and branding.

Finnish agency Bond used a palette of pastel colours and emblematic signage to create a friendly and approachable tone to the store. Health stores deal in specialist knowledge and information, which Bond made accessible using pictograms to relay the different categories of wellbeing products.

People visiting health and wellness stores are often confronted with rows and rows of products set out like medicines. The Pür branding communicates a message of holistic wellbeing in a playful, subtle way.

It reminds us of Vårdapoteket, a Swedish pharmacy chain that was rebranded into a vibrant, colourful space that strikes a balance between health and friendliness.
