Paris – David Frossard, founder of the Différentes Latitudes perfume label, and designer Philippe di Méo, have created Liquides, a perfume-bar that offers customers a unique experience, with everything from personalised fragrances to classic scents.
Brands are increasingly offering consumers a sense of experience and personalised products, as we reported in our Commodity Innovate feature.
The perfume bar looks like an apothecary. Fragrances in glass bottles line the shelves, and a bar enables customers to sample the vast selection of fragrances, from old favourites to something new.
Designed to be different from the usual perfume counters in department stores, Liquides offers refined and original scents, alongside those from well-known perfume houses such as Odin, Jardin de France and Arquiste. The original scents include those created by Philippe di Méo featuring religious symbols of Christianity, Islam and Kabbalah as well as paganism.
