London – Studio Toogood is exhibiting Delicate Interference: Assemblage 3, a new furniture collection. The range features many of the studio’s signature elements, including the Spade chair and Element table, as well as the use of heavy materials such as rubber, resin, glass and dirty oil.

The Element table, with its signature sphere, cylinder and cube, is presented in steel sheets, roughly welded, and steel mesh. The Spade chair is in bronze, and presented in a blue patina that highlights the texture of the metal.

‘Materials are really precious,’ Aysenaz Toker, designer at Studio Toogood, tells LS:N Global. ‘We don’t want to hide them. We want to show them as they are.’

The collection also features new designs, such as the fabulous Cage for Birds 2011 dressing table, again in steel mesh.
