UK – British car-maker Bentley is harnessing the power of emotion-recognition technology in its latest app.
As the saying goes, the eyes don’t lie. To promote the release of its Bentayga SUV, Bentley is helping consumers design their perfect car by measuring their subconscious responses to a series of visual stimuli.
The Bentley Inspirator app analyses a user’s facial movements using emotion-recognition technology and then pools this data to find the images that elicited the strongest emotional response.
A personalised Bentayga SUV car is then generated from the images that elicited the strongest emotional response and features a bespoke interior, veneer, paint job, wheels and name.
