Home from home: Hotel suite for business in comfort

12 : 06 : 2013 Bar : Hoxton Hotel : Conviviality Culture

London – From soulless boardrooms to the omnipresent flip chart, the business meeting can be a dull affair. London’s Hoxton Hotel hopes to change that with The Apartment, a new suite of meeting rooms centred around a chic retro kitchen that is reminiscent of our Super Authentic design direction.

The Apartment has shaken off the sterile office vibe with individually decorated meeting rooms, including the Library, Living Room, Study, Dining Room and Play Room. The hotel has created a home-like environment with designer prints, comfortable lighting and evocative bric-a-brac, complemented by the latest in meeting room technology.

The central communal kitchen, where guests can gather to enjoy drinks and treats, follows our Conviviality Culture macrotrend, which encourages people to interact and converse, often over a meal. At night, The Apartment can be transformed into an event space, complete with a DJ booth, fully stocked bar and sound system, an example of our Symbiotic Branding macro trend.
