Flexible Furniture: Zieta brings adaptable designs to Milan

04 : 04 : 2013 Furniture : Flexible : Simple

Milan- Design team Zieta will present its new range of furniture at Milan Design Week, reinventing the function of furniture and enabling consumers to adapt it to their needs.

The 3+ Collection includes chairs, tables and shelving, yet is designed so that each item cannot be categorised under one particular usage. Each component is perforated, and has connectors and versatile elements. The piece can be rearranged, its function can be changed, and new designs can be created by the user.

With a simple, pared-down aesthetic, the pieces appear slick and sophisticated. As the collection can be altered in an instant, it suits the modern, nomadic lifestyle. Rather than offering one piece of furniture with a distinct function, Zieta’s have many possibilities.
