Taichung, Taiwan – Taiwanese designer Yenwen Tseng has created the Big Hands Clock, which uses a pared-down design to focus the viewer’s attention on time itself.
The hour and minute hands are the only visible parts of the clock, but their movement creates a surprisingly diverse range of shapes. They ‘interact inseparably and show various expressions of time at every moment,’ according to the designer.
The clock was recently on view at the Fresh Taiwan exhibition at Tent London. Visit the Shows section for our forthcoming selection of the best of the London Design Festival.
