London – Cross-disciplinary design practice Studio Swine has created an office interior for Soho-based film production company EMU Films that uses space economically, with desks that fold out and pegboard walls.
The designers have maximised the 10-square metre space by making the tables adaptable to different requirements. Taking environmental concerns on board, Studio Swine has also used reclaimed materials in all components of the design. The tables are made from re-used parquet flooring from a local high school and the shelves are responsibly sourced Kentish Oak.
Interiors have to suit a variety of purposes as available space becomes more limited. Find out how designers are making the home adaptable and hackable in The Hacked Home microtrend.
