‘The idea for Garage developed from the notion that buying and selling could be easier and fun,’ says Beckerman. ‘I didn’t want to create a faceless marketplace used by strangers, but a system that is social. Just like Twitter or Instagram, Garage gives friends a way to follow one another and chat about what they are buying and selling.’
