Valencia – Spanish design studio Masquespacio has created the interior of a children’s clothing shop in Valencia to resemble a 2D colouring book.
All of Piccino’s white walls appear to have been drawn on by hand to give the impression of cupboards, drawers and plaster mouldings. Two figures and shop accessories such as scissors and mannequins, meanwhile, are depicted in bold block colours.
This is a great example of a brand connecting with its consumers by presenting itself through simple, expressive illustrations to create an authentic experience and an approachable environment. For another example, see The Candy Room and find out more in our Scrawl Script.
