London – PR expert, former pro athlete and blogger Juliet Elliott has launched Coven, a new women’s magazine focused on action, art and adventure.
Combining interviews with female action-sport stars with artist profiles and photographic portfolios, Coven seeks to redefine the themes typically found in women’s magazines.
‘There are a whole host of really interesting, creative and artistic magazines on the market which I thoroughly enjoy, but the lack of women within the covers always disappoints me. I wanted to create a really good magazine for women who are interested in skating, snowboarding, surfing, climbing, bicycles and the like,’ says Elliott.
The launch of Coven and the success of Elliott’s blog, Hell Yeah!, are an indication of women’s increased interest in action, adventure and sports more traditionally associated with men and relates to our Nu Trekkers microtrend.
