Shower screen: App drowns out bathroom sounds

26.03.2012 Conscious Consumption : Footprint Futures : App

Brazil – For World Water Day, sustainability institute Akatu and advertising agency Leo Burnett Tailor Made created an app that makes a shower noise, to be used in the toilet to drown out embarrassing sounds.

The fake shower app prevents people from wasting water by turning on the shower to mask the sounds they make in the toilet. Over time, the app shows how much water you have saved by not using the real shower.
