Chaos theory: Adrover creates hybrid pieces

21 : 02 : 2012 Hybrid : Layered : Garments

New York – Spanish designer Miguel Adrover presented an eclectic autumn/winter 2012/2013 collection at New York Fashion Week. Chaotic hybrid looks were created, as suit jackets and sportswear were deconstructed, layered and pieced back together.

Cultural references such as American street style and indigenous craft details were merged within garments, while styling varied from stacked baseball caps to tribal headdresses.

Adrover’s cross-referencing of cultural design cues is a progression from our Mix Mash design direction.
