Eindhoven, the Netherlands – Designer Atelier Vraay exhibited his glass vessel concept at The Yard in Strijp during Dutch Design Week.
A concept that rethinks the ritual of pouring water, the bottle has specially placed handles that enable large amounts of water to be carried steadily, and takes inspiration from the way the string is wound back on a kite.
‘I was looking to try and create a totally different ritual to serving and pouring,’ says Vraay. ‘The handles look strange at first but once they are used, the act becomes instinctive.’
