05 : 06 : 2011 Natural : Recycled Wood Fibre : Environmentally Sustainable

Meriden, ConnecticutDr Nicholas V Perricone has created a skincare range called Super that takes the active ingredients in superfoods to make skincare products.

The range includes a cream to calm irritated skin, containing quercetin from green apples, and a cream that uses the active ingredient in watercress to detoxify the skin. Other active ingredients include coconut, chilli and turmeric. Super is free from synthetic dyes, chemicals and fragrances.

The packaging is environmentally sustainable. Labels are made from 80% post-consumer paper, and boxes from recycled wood fibre. The packaging is also manufactured using wind power and printed in a carbon-neutral facility.
