Multiple choice: Home design in a new light

Leipzig – Design Academy Eindhoven graduate Yi-Cong Lu received the Designers’ Open Award for his Wohnwerkzeuge (Home Tools) series at the Designers’ Open festival last month.

Lu created a range of multifunctional objects for the home, including a desk and a lamp. His Lightboy lamp, with its minimalist design, can be mounted on a wall or placed on the floor. And the Panel can be used as a message board, a desk or even a clothes rack.
