Northfield, Illinois – Food giant Kraft Foods has developed a healthy eating app for families.
Called Big Fork, Little Fork and only available on Apple’s iPad, the app helps parents teach their children how to cook and how to eat more healthily, through 300 recipes, how-to videos and educational games.
The release of this app illustrates the importance of tablet computing devices in consumers’ homes. ‘We see the iPad as the ideal device to host our newly developed content,’ says Kraft Foods’ director of innovation, Ed Kaczmarek. ‘It’s a highly interactive way for parents to engage with the app both in the kitchen and around the home.’
