Los Angeles – Everybody is a new online clothing and lifestyle brand that focuses on ethical production methods.

Founded by Iris Alonzo and Carolina Crespo, formerly of American Apparel, Everybody is working to promote sustainability in fashion. With the tagline ‘our t-shirts are made from trash’ the brand has worked with a mill in South Carolina to develop a new fabric that is produced from 100% recycled cotton.

Everybody ensures that all of its workers are paid what it describes as a fair wage and 95% of the factories are in California, where Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) standards are much stricter than the rest of the country.

Each week the brand will introduce a new product, designed by Alonzo and Crespo’s friends and family, and the website will narrate the stories of the workers that produced the items, highlighting Everybody’s community-first approach and creating a strong sense of narrative around the brand.
