London – Digital platform POSTmatter is the latest addition to our line-up of Disruptors for the forthcoming Global Futures Forum.
- The editorial platform focuses on the crossover between digital technology and the creative industries
- The team also work with brands on creating interactive installations and immersive digital artworks
POSTmatter will be bringing one of its interaction fashion films to our Global Futures Forum in October. The film, Ripple, was styled by Katie Shillingford and features the work of Gareth Pugh, Iris van Herpen and Alexander McQueen. The POSTmatter team was led by creative director Rémi Paringaux and the final work was presented in Milan as part of an exhibition exploring the relationship between tactile craft and digital image-making.
Ripple will be presented in the basement of Shoreditch Town Hall in the Disruptors’ Labyrinth section of the Global Futures Forum. Guests will be able to interact with the film through a plinth of stretched fabric monitored by hidden infra-red sensors, creating digital ripples that transform the surface of the film itself.
