London – Liverpool Street’s Andaz hotel has launched a new after-work space dedicated to start-ups.
The five-star hotel, part of the Hyatt Hotels and Resorts group, has opened Space to Startup, which it plans to grow into a London-wide community of entrepreneurs and investors.
From 6:00pm until the early hours of the morning, Space to Startup offers its members discounted use of the hotel’s services and helps support their growth through its partnership with included.co – a start-up and freelancer marketplace. Members can also access senior Andaz Hotel executives for mentoring sessions and educational events.
By focusing on supporting start-ups, Andaz is building relationships with the businesses of the future and taking a long-term approach to customer loyalty.
The Big Picture: Brands are creating spaces that give start-ups a foothold in the local community, with larger businesses perfectly poised to offer their existing networks to attract and engage with new talent. Find out more in our Retail Lab Insight.
